Beginning as a peer research mentorship programme three years ago, in 2018, we are thrilled to introduce you VRL with our Mission 3.0. On top of providing hand-on research experience, we are advancing VRL into a comprehensive research network. We wish to introduce every interested students with fundamental research skills, both local and international connections and opportunities of presentation and publication. We hope VRL can be a window for our peers to discover their edge in this dynamic field of medical science research and be each other’s inspiration during the journey.
While the central audience remains our fellow medical students, we envision to expand the pool of beneficiaries to students under Faculty of Medicine with our research skills workshops series and events. Meanwhile, this academic year, our team is very excited to organise our first VRL Young Medical Researcher’s Symposium. Target audience not only includes our faculty members but potential high school students and teachers to share our passion in medical education and research.
